Hi, my name is Mahjabeen.
Growing up between cultures, I learned that identity isn't always simple. You're one person at home and another in the world.
Modern and traditional. Rooted and evolving.
For years I tried to hide those parts of me to "fit in". Now I embrace them. That's why I created MAHJ.
MAHJ was created for that space, the in-between. Not traditional jewelry. Not Western jewelry. Something entirely its own.
Every piece we make is a bridge. Between the ancient and the contemporary. Between the East and the West. Between who you were raised to be and who you are becoming in a way that honors all of you.
